Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will host the second annual Runway to Opportunities event, a networking and information session aimed at connecting prime contractors with businesses interested in working on airport construction projects. The event is part of the Journey With AUS airport expansion program.

Runway to Opportunities is intended to help subcontractors learn how to participate in large-scale construction at the airport and build relationships with major contractors. Attendees will hear presentations from firms currently working on significant airport projects, receive updates on ongoing and upcoming construction, and gain insight into the overall direction of the expansion. The event will also provide practical advice for doing business with both the City of Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The session is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA), located at 3100 Alvin Devane Blvd, Building B, Austin, TX 78741.

Prime contractors participating include Austin Commercial, Hensel Phelps, JE Dunn, and Sundt / Archer Western. The agenda features both structured and informal networking opportunities for subcontractors to ask questions and explore possible collaborations that could lead to future work on airport projects.

Businesses interested in attending can register online for more information about involvement opportunities.
