Fort Worth’s first luxury condominium units are now available to the public. The Seven at Bowie House, located at 1217 Dorothy Lane in the city’s Cultural District, has listed its fourth unit for just under $5.5 million, which is about $2,000 per square foot. The condos are part of a development attached to the Bowie House, an Auberge Resorts Collection hotel.

The newly listed residence measures 2,700 square feet and features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It remains under construction. According to Douglas Elliman agent Hannah Sullivan, who is handling the listing, other condos in the development range from two to four bedrooms with prices between $5.5 million and $6.4 million.

Entrepreneur and cutting horse champion Jo Ellard developed Bowie House after identifying a need for upscale accommodations in Fort Worth during her visits for equestrian events. The property is situated near Dickies Arena and the Will Rogers Memorial Center—venues known for hosting rodeos and horse competitions—and is adjacent to River Crest Country Club.

“It’s really the only thing like that there,” Sullivan said. “We really don’t have any competitors.”

These condos represent not only a first for Fort Worth but also one of the earliest branded luxury condo projects in Texas. Other similar developments underway in Texas include Ritz-Carlton residences, another Auberge-branded project, and a St. Regis tower in Houston, as well as Knox in Dallas.

Sullivan noted that while three units have already been sold privately, this fourth unit marks the first public listing for the development. The remaining units are still being built, with additional listings expected later this year.

The residential market in Fort Worth has seen an increase in inventory recently; however, it remains below average compared to Dallas and Texas overall (https://therealdeal.com/texas/2024/08/01/fort-worth-teetering-toward-buyers-market/).
