Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Gwen Griffin to the Texas Space Commission Board of Directors. Her new term will run until February 1, 2031.

Griffin is the chief executive officer of Griffin Communications Group, a national firm specializing in strategic communications and marketing for aerospace and technology companies. She serves on the Space Center Houston Board of Directors, is a trustee for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, and sits on the College of Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Griffin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UCF.
