Governor Greg Abbott has highlighted the significance of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) Club America chapter participation in Texas high schools. Speaking at an event attended by Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, TPUSA Senior Director Josh Thifault, Texas Education Agency (TEA) Commissioner Mike Morath, and other officials, Abbott called attention to the role of these chapters in shaping future leaders.

“There has been no moment in time during the course of this century when there was such an urgency and a need for an organization like TPUSA and Club America,” said Governor Abbott. “They have helped to restore moral clarity, constitutional principles, and our founding values. I am grateful for the young men and women behind me and their peers across the state for stepping up and identifying themselves as the future leaders of the Lone Star State.”

Abbott also acknowledged Charlie Kirk’s contributions to expanding conservative values among youth nationwide. He stated that Texas leads all states in the number of Club America chapters and pledged support for further growth. The governor warned that any school obstructing a Club America program should be reported to TEA for investigation and possible disciplinary action.

Additional photographs from the event are expected to be released.
