Hendrick Health announced on Mar. 9 that it has received the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for the 20th year in a row, marking a unique achievement among healthcare organizations worldwide.

The award highlights Hendrick Health’s ongoing commitment to fostering an outstanding workplace culture and employee engagement. The organization remains the only healthcare provider globally—and one of just two companies overall—to have earned this recognition every year since Gallup began presenting the award.

In 2026, Hendrick Health is one of nine healthcare systems in the United States and three in Texas to be honored among 80 international winners. This consistent recognition underscores its role as a leader in workplace excellence within both the healthcare sector and broader industry.

“Winning this award 20 years in a row is an extraordinary tribute to our team of dedicated, exceptional employees, who consistently demonstrate a deep commitment to excellence each day,” said Courtney Head, vice president for Hendrick Health. “This recognition reflects our ongoing promise to provide trusted, compassionate care and to be a healthcare partner the West Central Texas region can rely on.”

Gallup’s research indicates that organizations prioritizing both people and performance are better positioned for long-term success. Its meta-analysis on team engagement and performance includes data from more than 3.3 million employees across 347 organizations, spanning 53 industries and 90 countries. According to Gallup, highly engaged organizations outperform their peers on key business outcomes such as customer ratings, productivity, turnover rates, safety incidents, absenteeism, quality measures, well-being, and organizational citizenship.

As Hendrick Health celebrates this milestone, it continues to set an example for other organizations aiming to achieve sustained excellence through employee engagement.
