Guinn and Betsy Crousen have sold their Highland Park mansion in Dallas, which was listed for $32.5 million. The sale took place on Wednesday, according to public records. The buyer is a trust, with Genna Skolnik of Compass Real Estate serving as the only listed trustee.
While the final sale price has not been disclosed, data from the Houston Association of Realtors indicates that this transaction marks the most expensive residential sale in Texas so far in 2025. The property at 4000 Euclid Avenue was first listed in February and quickly became the highest-priced luxury home for sale in Texas based on information from leading Multiple Listing Services.
The Euclid Avenue home sits on more than an acre and features six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. Jason Garcia of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Real Estate noted that it occupies one of the largest lots in Highland Park. Designed by architect Robbie Fusch and built in 2015, the manor includes limestone floors, a corniced fireplace, bronze hardware imported from France, and a grand foyer topped by a dome covered in 24-carat gold leaf. Other amenities include Roman pillars around a courtyard with a fish pond fountain, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and loggia. With nearly 19,000 square feet of space, its asking price equated to about $1,700 per square foot.
Other high-profile listings this year have included the Crespi Estate in Dallas at $64 million; the Lodge at Hunters Creek in Houston at $60 million; and a University Park mansion previously owned by Joshua Pack with an asking price of $35 million. None of these properties have sold yet.
Architect Robbie Fusch also designed another notable listing: a mansion modeled after the White House for investor Toby Neugebauer on Strait Lane. That property left the market earlier this year without being purchased.
Among major metropolitan areas across Texas, only one other recent sale—a waterfront compound on Westlake Drive—may rival the Highland Park mansion’s undisclosed final price but had an asking price above $20 million.
