IAM Union leaders visit Wisconsin Mercury Marine and John Deere facilities

IAM Union leaders, including International President Brian Bryant and Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, visited union members at Mercury Marine and John Deere facilities in Wisconsin. Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo joined them on the tour, which was hosted by local officials from IAM Local 1947 and Local 873.

During the visit, Bryant spoke about his experience touring both sites. “I am impressed by the high-quality work and skills displayed by our union members in manufacturing products like Mercury Outboard engines and premium John Deere equipment,” he said.

Workers at Mercury Marine highlighted their expertise in areas such as machining, pouring, and grinding. They expressed pride in producing American-made products.
