TCEQ issues over $500,000 in fines for environmental violations

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has approved penalties amounting to $373,498 against 13 regulated entities for violating state environmental regulations. The enforcement actions include agreed orders across several categories: four air quality cases, one industrial hazardous waste case, one municipal wastewater discharge case, two petroleum storage tank cases, two public water system cases, one waste disposal well case, and two water quality cases.

Additionally, on November 18, the TCEQ executive director approved penalties totaling $128,597 against 32 entities.
