The U.S. Census Bureau will host a webinar on Tuesday, January 20, at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss updates to the methodology for its Vintage 2025 population estimates.

The Population Estimates Program (PEP) is responsible for producing the official estimates of population and housing units for the Census Bureau. The program annually constructs a time series of estimates beginning from the most recent decennial census and extending through the vintage year, which is the latest year for which data are available.

The upcoming webinar aims to provide more information about how these population estimates are developed and detail any changes in methodology planned for the Vintage 2025 series.
